caitlyn has packaged the Xfce4 Timeout and Places plugins for VectorLinux 5.8. They are available for download from the testing repo

Installing the package gives an unmet dependency error:

xfce4-places-plugin: Depends: dbus-0.62-i586-5vl58-upgraded >= 2007

Looks like it has something to do with the name of that dbus package containing "upgraded-2007".

Installing the plugin using --no-dep works fine.
