Festival is normally called by other applications.  But if you wish to play with it right away to see if it's working.  Just open up a terminal.

Would appreciate confirmation this package works as it has no install script.  So packaging was a bugger.

Well, I placed it in the x-apps repo, thats the only reason I'm asking

Doh! easuter lol!  Hey...  you can't know everything right? lol

kidd...  Thanks for the confirmation.  That was a bit hard for me to package.  In the past I just ran it from my build directory.  But I couldn't very well have everyone else do that.  So I had to scoop up all the files and place them in sane locations.  Just wanted to know if it worked on someone elses box.

festival, IIRC, has a Lisp-like interactive interface.
