Who is Who ("Whom?")
« on: June 15, 2007, 12:48:52 pm »
 :D

Just curious, who is "metis1@mts.net and metis_1@shaw.ca?

I have sent emails over the past couple of years to those addresses
and never received a reply.  Is "metis" a machine?

And now back to your regular programming.   :D

"metis" is metvas, one of the financial backers of VL.

HTH,

VL 6.0 SOHO latest alpha on one box, VL 5.9 Lite on the other.

Hi:
Metis1@mts.net is the only correct email on the site. Why the other is still there?
All emails to the above are answered. You can also use vectorlinux@mts.net.
Hope that solves the mystery.

Hi: Jerry:
I believe I responded to your email of the other day. Have you received a response in your box? Maybe let me know when you have a moment,

Howdy, Darrell - No, nothing at the email.com address I used to email you.

But thanks for acknowledging that you got my last email (I'd sent a couple
over the past couple of years but maybe to the wrong address posted on
the "contact us" link of the home page.

Anyway, the donation I sent via Paypal says it'll "clear" by Tuesday the
19th.  Sorry it takes so long.

Anyway, Vector was the distribution that convinced me that Linux was
more than just a competitor to Windows, a real force in the computing
world with personality to boot ("to boot" unintentional pun :D).

I'm so glad you guys have stuck around and haven't gone by the wayside
as a few other ambitious distros have from time to time.
