What can I do to solve this?

ok, solved the above problem, but have a new one. i'm able to build ushare, but the following error occurs during executing:
ushare: error while loading shared libraries: libupnp.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
anybody have some experience with ushare or an other upnp server application?

Never even heard of ushare before your post, but it seems libupnp is a dependency, so you have to build that first:

Indeed it's a dependency and I build it already before. It went fine and the configure of ushare detected it correctly. So, i don't know how to fix my current problem.

Hi all,

I'm sorry for resurrecting this old post but I'm still stuck with ushare and I never heard of other Linux apps capable to stream files with an Xbox360.

I have the same problem as the above posts. Does someone succeed installing ushare on vector?

Thanks!

did you build pupnp?
try ldconfig and then execute the binary again.

Thank you very much, it worked! Smiley

I don't know if it depends on using ldconfig or using the new version (5.9) of vectorlinux but now compiling libupnp, running ldconfig and finally compiling ushare works flawlessly!

Thanks again!
