Arabic fonts in VL5.8 SOHO ??

i have problem in arabic fonts ..
names of arabic files appear as (question marks )
and in web pages it appears so bad-looking .
so how can i solve this problem ?

note:-
i have installed kde-arabic package , also fontforge by gslapt .

i downloaded i file for arabic fonts in *.tar.bz2 format i extract it into 2 files in *.bdf and a file in *.pcf formats i try to install them by font installer in kde ..right or wrong ??

i also copy some fonts from windows fonts folder , also installing by font installer and there is a little improvement .

I never used the KDE font installer, so I'm in the dark there, as it were.

One easy way to install fonts is to find Arabic TrueType fonts (such as these ones: http://www.arabeyes.org/project.php?proj=Khotot), then extract them into the .fonts/ directory in your home directory. Then run fc-cache and they should be ready for use.
