tmp folder

Hi all'

Is there any harm in removing the contents of tmp folder ? Using VL 5  standard

You can clear out certain things in the /tmp folder, but it is best to use caution. Certain files in there are particularly important to active processes, such as the X11 socket (usually /tmp/.X11-unix/X0). KDE also leaves a number of temporary files important to its operation.

Does something in /tmp use a lot of space for you?
