Hi all

How to install scribus on VL 5.8 standard  ?

Scribus is in the VL repository under /extra. You may have to add that directory to your /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc file. As root add this line:

Then run gslapt, search for Scribus, and have gslapt install it.

Scribus is not the latest version. The latest stable version is, which is not in our repositories. You can download a package for from, but I don't know how it handles dependencies. Or you can compile from source code.
