That's too bad, Easuter. Out of curiosity, what's your hardware?I've been using cpu frequency scaling also, in hopes of making my box a little more green.
I tried kernel 2.6.20-rc1-mm1 with the "tickless" option on my P3/933but it has now for the second time in a row caused a system freezeas soon as I left the system idle for a couple of hours.
Its a pity this...I can really understand why Con Kolivas got so pissed off, the CFS scheduler will end up implementing many of his ideas.
