I just received my DSL package for Verizon.  I had hoped to save some money over the cost of my cable connection.  I have a Netgear wireless router installed which works fine.  After hooking up to my new DSL package and starting my web browser I am immediately confronted with the option of either switching to an approved OS or exit the setup program with Verizon.  I know my VL will work with the DSL as a LAN but I have no way to work around this problem.

Any suggestions?

I think I saw another thread about this some time ago... but I cant find it...

At any rate, I did a little googling, I found a good link with a couple of possible routes around the problem

There is a good link there so you can go to it and get your initial setup (user name/psswd ) setup. After that, you should be able to plug your user name and pass into the router and get online.
