The FTP site is a mess.
« on: July 12, 2007, 01:52:30 am »

I'm not too sure this is the right place, but I'd like to point out that the ftp site is sort of a mess. for instance:

1) /veclinux-current/  is not current, there doesn't seem to be anything going on in there
2) /veclinux-soho-current/ is not current, the last iso in there is 5.8 SOHO rc3. I've seen a lot of people here and in the chat who think they got themselves the latest SOHO because of this! Please get rid of all those old beta's and rc's, and put the FINAL iso in there. Or get rid of the entire current thing if nobody is keeping it current.
3) /veclinux-soho/ contains just old 3.2 stuff... perhaps it should be renamed to veclinux-soho-3.2 and moved to the "attic" directory (that one might as well be called "antiques" ;)).

That's it for now, I'm sure more would be found if we searched a little better though.
Most music on my soundcloud page was arranged in programs running on VL.

No argument from me.  I agree it needs to change.  I just don't have the rights to change it so...

Who can take care of this?
