Try a search for openoffice in gslapt. It's the same as other stuff you've installed, please try something yourself before asking how to do it. If you try something and it doesn't work, write a post with:

1) what version of VL you're using
2) what you were trying to do + how you're trying to do it
3) what went wrong + relevant error messages
Most music on my soundcloud page was arranged in programs running on VL.

If you can't find 2.2 in the Vector Linux repositories, you can get it from  Here's a link for 2.2.1:  You can install it the way you would any other .tgz package, i.e. open a terminal, change to the directory where you have the package saved, then su to root, then "installpkg name-of-package.tgz".  If you have an earlier version of installed, use "upgradepkg" instead of "installpkg."

Note:  If you go to to find something which VL doesn't have, the default for searching for packages is now for Slackware 12.  You should change it to search for packages for Slackware 11.  I wouldn't recommend installing packages built for Slackware 12.
