I need to have a box talk to 2 different network providers simultaneously, i.e. traffic from ISP/ethernet needs to  have responses go out the same interface/gateway it came in through..

It looks like the Iproute/iproute2 package would do that, but it's not available as a Vector package.  It also seems to need certain routing optons to be built into the kernel.

Are there any plans to include this package in Vector?

Will the stock Vector 5.8 kernel support iproute without a recompile?

Does anyone know any other way to talk to to two providers at the same time?
