I have just installed Vector SOHO 5.8 and this is my first linux experience.  I am trying to configure my wireless network card.  When I go into the control panel, I am asked to select a similar platform - I am assuming that Slackware is the correct one.  After I select this, I am greeted by ath0 and eth0.  The ath0 is disabled but detected.  Every time I try to activate it - it says I must do it manually.  How do you manually activate?  Thanks a million!
