Hi everybody,
            It is my fist time using VL, because virus  in Windows make me crazy. and now I need to find a packet supporting Chinese font...

Welcome!  We have people working on supporting more languages on VL.  But since we're all volunteers here things might take a bit longer than we'd like.  Since you may be the resident expert on speaking Chinese, you may have the job!  Grin

but,frankly,I was a hardware engineer and what I know little about Linux code  although  very interested in it.

There is a book by O'Reilly about the Linux kernel. I suppose (if you know C programming) it might be useful.
