You probably won't hear anything from me for a week. We're leaving for several days' vacation on Sunday morning. We're having a gathering with most of my husband's family. I'm not taking my computer along. I'm hoping I'll be able to check my e-mail now and then but I doubt I'll have time for any forums.
My brother and sister-in-law will be here to look after my mother (almost 89) and our dog and cats.
Carry on! --GrannyGeek

It's good to get away from the dehumanizing influence of the computer sometimes...

Enjoy your vacations Granny! Give our salutes to your family. If we get some weird posts from Granny here, we will assume is your brother playing with your computer, we will let you know about it

I'm back!
We had a great time. My husband's brother and sister and their families were there, some for just a couple of days. Our daughter and her family were there for two days.
My niece (18) and nephew (15) brought their laptops along and there was wifi in the house we rented, so I was able to keep up with my e-mail. No time for VL forums, alas.
Today is laundry day and we have to drive my brother and sister-in-law to the airport. Our fur girls adapted and our very sociable cat even cuddled with them in our bed. She can't go long without human body contact.<g> Our little 17-year-old calico is afraid of everybody but us and although I thought she might dare to come out after four days or so, she didn't. In fact, she hid behind the freezer for the last two days and didn't come out until I was here alone. I'm the only human she trusts completely. She likes GrampaGeek, too, but sometimes she gets scared of him, too. The deeper voice probably does it.
So now I'm beginning the long process of getting caught up with this and other forums I participate in. --GrannyGeek
