Hello everyone. I would like to help in development/package creation. Could someone tell me who should I contact?

http://www.vectorlinux.com/forum2/index.php?topic=1380.0 is definitely a good howto to get you started.
vpackager (if used correctly) has the capabilities of building fully-up-to-standards packages too.

Either way you want to do it, 
You'd need to contact johnb316 to get you access to the server so you can upload the packages...

Problem is JohnB316 hasn't been online for almost 3 weeks now. I sure hope he's alright....

john has been in irc. he had a death in the family and some other issues at work.
As far as i know he will be back up to speed within the next couple of weeks
