The Adventures Of DrGrov
« on: August 13, 2007, 11:53:46 am »

I thought that perhaps I could do a thread about my daily adventures.
Any comments on this idea?
If it is a bad idea I will skip it.

Cheers!  ::)

So are you some sort of super hero who spends his days fighting the forces of evil and foiling the dastardly plans of villainous thugs?

Its clear to me the guy is a Doctor, Doctor Grov. Oh, wait, is a great name for a superhero!

I guess this is what a blog is for. I'm not sure that a support forum is the right place for a daily diary.

The Lounge is a pretty liberal area, but it would get quite crowded if everyone used it as a general blog.

A more narrow scope, posting details of interesting computer/Linux adventures could be appropriate and helpful.

DrGrov beat up Magneto last night with a plastic whiffle bat that had Vector Linux installed on it.

No, they weren't!  First, some guy in a mask slapped me till I cried.  Then I was at home, almost paralyzed and unable to speak; I could only scream or make incomprehensible noises.  Slowly I gained motor control and began to walk.

Then 1970 came and I turned 3.  It's been pretty good since then. ;D

Oooh Maaaan!  I just can't stop laughing!  My kids want in on the joke.  :D  A witty one, you are.  If my math is correct, you are a year older than I.

Is that a parachute harness I see you wearing in your avatar?
