DForge is a distro build tool that was evolved from Vectelopment.
The first distro built using Vectelopment was Vector Linux Dynamite 5.0.x on 2004,
followed by Vector Linux SOHO 5.0.x on 2005.
Since then, DForge has being used to build Dewantara Linux,
an educational oriented distro for Indonesian.

On 10 August 2007, DForge received the Ristek Telkom Award
from the Ministry of Research and Technology Indonesia as the second Winner.
The thropy was given to Eko M. Budi (Kocil) and Eko Nurdijanto.
Of course, this thropy is for the VL community too.
