Hmmm....
I compiled the 0.9.44 from source and managed to get HereticII (kinda) working.
Only the sound is an issue: all crackle and hisses....

Anyone an idea as to what may cause that?

Edit: Never mind: found out about winecfg ..........(Yeah; I'm a Wine-n00b, I know...)

well my app won't work with the latest version. I had to back out to 37.

I had some terrible problems with 0.9.43 but when I jumped up to 0.9.44 almost all of the problems I had encountered were eliminated. Programs that previously had not worked at all worked almost flawlessly.

Well, I've been trying to build wine 0.9.44 with fontforge, but it appears that fontforge is no longer a dependency (the wine fonts look the same even when fontforge isn't installed).

So I'll probably have 0.9.44 up by tomorrow.
