I was wondering if it would be good to have Iscan added to Vectorlinux packages repository.
http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/dl_scan.html
It is the official driver for Epson scanners. It is a frontend to Sane.
I know there is already the Sane package and Kooka but Epson made this driver available also.
It is a simple application, more similar to Kooka than Sane.
Since Vectorlinux is targeted to simplicity maybe it would be good to have it.
I am using it on my Slackware 10.2 on my laptop and, so far, it has always satisfied all my scanning needs.
