Hey all !
Yea ...
I'd like to say waaasss up from Hoboken , NJ USA !
I'm a UNIX / Linux fan and for a LONG time now I couldn't get Vector Linux connected to the internet because I had problems with Madwifi .
Now IT'S WORKING !
Great work on this distro ... I love Slackware based distros . Very stable ... And much like BSD UNIX  Grin
I currently use UBUNTU , DEBIAN , DESKTOPBSD and now FINALLY Vector Linux .
I tinker with BSD , Solaris , Linux , Reactos ... You name it !
Thanx to Qemu  Grin

I'm sorry to say I can't like you.  You don't seem to have a link or any mention of VectorLinux on your blog.  What a waste of a nice blog.

Just kidding!  Welcome to VectorLinux!

Hey !
Waasss up !
Sorry for not posting about Vector exeterdad  Grin
Just got here ya know .
Ha !
Yea ... I'll put up a post on my blog with a cool review for sure .
I've been to Allentown a few times hanumizzle ...
And I've heard the popular song !
About 2 hours via car ... PA is cool  Cool
It's also cool to get so many replies so soon !
This Forum is pretty active for sure ...
Let's keep Vector moving ... It's really a fast distro that reminds me of BSD .
Debian based distros can be a bit slow and on an old computer Vecter is quite speedy !
A pen drive based Vector would be really awesome ...
Let's get that goin' !
Alright folks ... I'll check back often  Grin
THANX for the Welcome !

Well, being as my parents are both from NJ, most of the place names there come from three sources:

England (e.g., Middlesex*)
Native Americans (e.g., Netcong)
Dutch (e.g., Hoboken)

* Not a dirty name at all. Means 'Middle Saxons'

Hey hanumizzle !

Yea ... This is true . Europe and Native American .
You know New Jersey !
The Native American name was spelled a little different ...
Hopoghan Hackingh .
It means “Land of the tobacco pipe.”
More info is right here about Hoboken !
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoboken_NJ

Frank Sanatra was born here also !
When he sang about "These little town blues are melting away." in the song "New York , New York" he was talking about Hoboken .
It's right across the river from Manhattan .
Hoboken has a great view of Manhattan ...
THAT'S why the rents are so high here !

One of the things I love about this community, and it is a community, is its diversity.  People of all ages and backgrounds from all over the world.... excellent.  And its really supportive here.
