Hello Canada,
VL5.8 can find but not use the realtek nic on my asus6rp. It's all abit strange since I belive it's quite standard.
The dmesg reports irq18, when I force the vasm to configure the card, ifconfig reports irq19.
Supplying dmesg, ifconfig, lsmod and lspci.
NIC (and cable) works with windows (dual boot) and it worked with xubuntu the other day.
(broadcom wlan doesn't work either but that's not really important right now.)
Thankful for any help!
/tj
