Macromedia Flash replacement in Linux or VL

Hi all, is there a macromedia flash like package for Linux or VL?
I notice there is one called Synfig (http://www.synfig.com) but I am not able to build it......
pls help...

I think you will find interesting a page I found the last day, I didnt get the time to check the apps yet, http://osflash.org/projects
I was very surprised when I saw there is an open  source flash player project. There is some interesting things, and some awesome actually, as a 3d render engine for flash. I still think flash is a thing to avoid in a website, but there is some cool stuff there.
