Just a reminder that the postgresql service runs as the user postgres with a default password of postgres.

A few of the amenities in VL postgresql packages:
- The postgres user is created on install.
- A set of menu items are included for both XFCE and KDE.
- A quick way to set up a default database cluster is through the "PostgreSQL First Time Setup" menu item, which defaults to /home/postgres/pgdata. In text mode, the same thing can be achieved by calling the /opt/postgresql/share/scripts/post-install script.
- Menu options to start, stop or reload the service are also available, or you can set it up to load automatically in the different runlevels using vasm.
