I'm looking for an application that I can use to time off an hour while I work out on my exercise bike.  The idea is that I can stop the timer if I want to get off and do something, and then come back and start it again.  There must be something like that, am I right?

Have not tried it, but "xfce4-timer-plugin" is in the repo. Install with gslapt.
