I had look at frugalware, they have some 13 CDs. I took the net CD. To install w/o KDE it has 1,033 MB and 3,502 MB uncompressed files. That would take with my system at least about 12 hours to install. No thank you!
So I would say frugalware is a misnomer.
Being slackware based I was surprised that it found my davicom eth card which neither VL nor Slackware nor 3 other SW based distros were able to configure on their own correctly. It needs the module dmfe and not tulip.
BTW I was wondering how that is with the live VL CD, re. dmfe.
