when i click on detect nothing happens.

when i click on ok or apply

the program crashes and return on shell this failure message

Did you try manually adding your camera from the list rather then trying the "detect" button?

yep!

ROFL!!  Too funny!  Honestly that "could" be the case.  I recall you getting seg faults with other apps as well.  I still want to get you some updated packages to try, but have been very distracted with homelife and this beta release.
