Well, I am not new to linux, but I am new to Vector...

I have tried everything and have to say this is by FAR the fastest and most stable *nix distro I have seen, no to mention the most complete for any desktop user...

I have tried FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, BeOS, Windows (of course all versions), RedHat, Fedora (an abortion), suse, debian, slackware, gentoo, and lunar (a source based distro like gentoo)... and EVEN the source based distros seem SLOW compared to this beast!

I am so far very happy with my brand new old system Smiley

I'm glad you liked it.
It's really fast, isn't it?  Many of us have stopped our distro searching thanks to vector linux.
