Hey everybody. Thanks for all the helpfull information. But I just switched back to Kubuntu Linux. When I was using VL, I also found out that my printer was not supported either. So, i just made the switch back to Kubuntu. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Thanks for all the help. Smiley

Well, cbwiccan left, but ....
Sometimes if we start gtKam as user it doesn't work, but if we start gtKam as root it works.
If we add this line to fstab
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs rw,devmode=0666 0 0
gtKam works for user
My question:
Could someone explain to me what devmode=0666 stands for
If I change the number it doesn't work.  Neither does this line -- none /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0
