Makes labels, business cards, ets.   Does mailing, CD, VHS, floppy, and other common labels using Avery/Dennison (and other/custom) pre-cut paper label sheets.

http://glabels.sourceforge.net/

An obvious candidate for SOHO at least since any small office will be doing lots of labeling.

The downside is it needs about 60 Megs of Gnome libs and dependencies, which are allready available in the VL repositories.

60 megs is to much for a Label. Try qLabels instead: http://qlabels.p34.net/
Now we have qt4 in the repos, it should work.
When a program has hard gnome dependencies, I always try changing the "g" by the "q" in google Cheesy

Heh!  If you think 60's too much for a label, have you looked at the size of QT4?

                      QT4  -->  Installed Size:  128250 K    (Ack!)

                                           and that forces install of dependencies:

       PostgresSQL   -->  Installed Size:  33140 K
        SQlite              -->  Installed Size:     1460 K

The math is left as an exercise for the reader.

QT3's only 69240 K and already installed, but qlabel won't make with that. Sad

Cool hint, though!

 Cheesy yeah you are right, I though you could be using qt4 for something else already. But indeed, 128250 looks like bigger than 61440  Roll Eyes
