Uninstall OpenOffice
« on: October 30, 2007, 07:47:12 am »
Hello guys!
New Vectorbie online - Love SOHO!
Question please:
I'd like to remove/uninstall OpenOffice from my computer. Can someone tell me the command to remove it from VL?
Thanks!
 :)

Sorry, just remember I had another question.  ;)
Is StarOffice 8 compatible with VL SOHO? I searched the forum, but I couldn't find anything about it.
Thanks again!

There are plenty of ways to get rid of openoffice :).
If you want to do it the GUI way, you can use gslapt (I think that's in the "system" menu in KDE, I'm using xfce now though), search for "openoffice".

From commandline can use:

Code: [Select]
slapt-get --remove openoffice
or

Code: [Select]
removepkg openoffice
Most music on my soundcloud page was arranged in programs running on VL.
