greetings forum,
i set up a motorcycle tire changing/wheel balance station in the basement. in the make room process there was an early p3 600mhz machine. i ran an internet cable and installed 5.8 soho and it runs great. i grabbed thunderbird from the slackware source, it seemed to install fine and took all my internet setup stuff, even opens with my cox cable password. buuuuut! if i want to send a link while running fire fox nothing happens, no thunderbird window. i understand that vector does not officially support thunderbird, but does anyone have a fix.

"There is a concept which corrupts and upsets all others. I refer not to Evil, whose limited realm is that of ethics; I refer to the infinite."
Jorge Luis Borges, Avatars of the Tortoise.
