Author Topic: 5.9 Beta: No volume control or mixer settings (no sliders) just empty window ?!  (Read 2106 times)

HI,

I know what is supposed to be there when I click on the speaker icon in the taskbar. I should have a volume slider. However there is nothing there. Just the empty application control with no sliders. I tried to fix it with the hardware detection of VASM, but that did not do it.

You didn't say what type of sound card but I bet it's an Intel.

It is an onboard Nvidia soundcard. The driver that always works is the Intel driver.
