Hi all
My name is Tony and I'm a 68 year old Aussie from Perth in Western Australia.
I'm heavily into computers  - my profession since 1960. I've been through all the versions of Microsoft from the early DOS days right up to Vista(vomits quietly) but now I'm right in to Linux.
My main system is a Lenovo laptop which came with Vista Home Premium pre-installed but is now 100% Linux, using Kubuntu 7.10
I have an older desktop which dual boots Xubuntu and DreamLinux and an even older desktop (pre-2000) which had Damn Small Linux, but which is now going to upgraded to VectorLinux.
I live in a retirement village and I'm in the process of slowly converting the computer-savvie residents to Linux.
But right now it's about 30 degrees Celcius and I'm heading for the beach - my other passion.

Hi Tony--

Welcome from another member of the VL senior contingent!

Lucky you--just going into summer while we in the North are descending into the dark, cold winter.
