The options line doesn't work.
I have made a man pcnet_cs and it appears that hw_addr is used to force MAC address
It seems there is no way to force the board's io address.

the rmmod generate an error saying : module 8390 is in use by pcnet_cs


Well it is time for me to go to bed (I start at 6 to morrow morning).

I am a bit disappointed and I am not sure this configuration will work one day with the network.
This week I will think about what I am going to do with my Thinkpad. Perhaps turning it into a picture frame and find some computer (not to old) at a bargain price to turn it into an internet station.
