Hi

I used vector and slack prior to vector 5.8 and slack 11. Left mainly because I didn't greatly like slack package management and the packages from linuxpackages.net. I have noticed with interest lately crux4slack allowing vector to use the ports system and access a greater range of packages. So since package mgt was my main gripe ( beside sound in slack ) I wondered how this new feature had gone down with everyone is it reliable and is the package quality good ?

If there have been any other developments I haven't seen eg default firewalls, pulseaudio etc give me your opinion or some links I would love the info ?
