Gslapt versus pkgtool
« on: December 16, 2007, 06:46:58 pm »
Beside the obvious what is the difference between gslapt and pkgtool. I feel more at ease with the pkgtools-tukaani. Does pkgtool account for dependencies such as gslapt?

The Tukaani implementation of pkgtools, I believe, covers only the functionality of the original Slackware pkgtools. Short answer, no.

I just use slapt-get and ls /var/log/packages actually. :)
