With the new release I thought I'd give vector a try. But the CD won't boot on my Thinkpad 600E which I was wanting to install it on. The MD5 sums check out OK, and the CD boots just fine on my P4 desktop, but on the Thinkpad it doesn't get past "Loading". I don't have trouble with other bootable cds (e.g. I've installed the latest versions of Freedos and Zenwalk on the thinkpad recently by booting from cd). I tried making a floppy and booting from that instead but no dice. Any suggestions?

Turns out the Thinkpad's cd drive was just having trouble reading that CD. I burned the ISO again and was able to boot.
