Multimedia Bonus Disc (MMBD) RC1 is released!

All major features and packages are now included (except for inkscape). However, I will still be taking some package requests but mostly it will be bug fixes. Please test this and let me know if anything is not working as expected. For those of you who would like to suggest new programs, please look on this site first and see if the program is not already there before posting. http://dweeberkitty.110mb.com/features.html This release is really close to what the final version will look like. Thanks for all of the support so far!

Bug reports and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please report bugs here:

Congratulations, Dweeberkitty. I know you have expended quite a bit of effort on this project and it looks very nice (and what a cool website). One question: is this bonus set intended for VL 5.8 or 5.9 (or both)?

It is built only for 5.9. Installing it on 5.8 would most likely result in most programs that are installed not working. Have fun!

easuter,

Have you been keeping up with my packages? I'm currently in the process of rebuilding a huge number of the packages. I went through and found lots of things that needed to be updated. I'm now recompiling a ton of the packages to be built against the newer libraries and programs. I didn't know I was going to do this until after RC1. RC2 will have all of the updated programs, libraries. I would wait before adding anything to the repo as in most likelihood you'll end up replacing most of them anyway.

Umm...I see the mjpegtools rc3 in my contrib. Not sure why you can't see it. Oh, wait...Somehow it ended up under Programs. It's moved now. But, like I said, you'll probably have to replace it in the repo anyway as I am making some modifications to it as I speak. Get ready for a large package move soon!
