Hi,

I got an error message while trying out the vasm :

Quote
vasm cc:
This application has raised an unexpected error and must abort.
[-1] unable to load image :/usr/share/vasmCC/icons/vfdisk.png.Mfiles.?.0

Any idea?

The problems you are encountering are strange.

I tested this one as well and it is working for me.

Did you do am MD5 sum check to make sure that
you got a good download?

FYI, I just finished downloading VL5.9 yesterday.....tested the LiveCD......Liked it very much.....just installed using the VLlife install script in the system menu....running and playing around and stumbled across these errors.  I'm not scare of errors instead I like it.....so that I can learn more from there.  Thanks.

Download the md5sum file from here:
http://vectorlinux.osuosl.org/veclinux-5.9/iso-release/

Place it on the same folder as the iso file, and type:
Code:
md5sum -c VL5.9-STD-Gold.iso.md5sum
It will tell you if the iso is ok or not.

Alternatively, just run md5sum on the iso file, and compare the number that comes out with the one written on the md5sum text file.
