It is known that compiz-fusion does not work out of the box for everyone. Let's try to keep support requests out in the main part of the forum as it is certain there will be many.
A thread is started already to help accomplish this:http://www.vectorlinux.com/forum2/index.php?topic=5253.0
Experienced users will notice that category icons are missing from the Compiz Control Manager. Other users will not notice as the category text is still visible. The code for those icons is not working at this time and to prevent the "broken image" icon from showing, the icons have been disabled (by us) until the developers have fixed the code.
It is also known that ATI video card users may not be able to use compiz-fusion without further configuration.
