How, in vector, would I go about getting mp4 and flv files to play?
I installed VLC which is what I'd usually use, but it was a bit messed up, and wasnt displaying properly, so I slapt-get --remove'd it.

Another reason to love linux:
You can call it "Linux" and not "GNU/Linux" and there isn't a damn thing Richard Stallman can do about it.

Hi civint, I think the best way to go is mplayer. I can play flv and almost every media format with it. For some reason VLC doesn't work right for me neither.
