Try Vasm -> SUPER -> USER -> ADD , Or with VasmCC -> User -> ADD

Welcome to VL kge420.

You can add users and much more through vasm. It's there, on the menu (dunno where exactly).

You can do it through the console.  man is your friend ;)

man -k <word> finds all man pages related to <word>
grep filters text matching some words so

Code: [Select]
man -k user| grep addwill tell you commands and functions related to that.  Then
Code: [Select]
man adduser
man useradd

will show you the info regarding each command.

More on that in:
Code: [Select]
man man

No luck in VASMCC. There are only options to delete a user or change password.

Use VASM not VASMCC.

your best bet is 'vasm', and the easiest way is to open a "terminal" and type, vasm.  You will have to log in as root, then follow the user trail from there.  Good Luck

You can "almost" add a user with vasmCC, but for some reason the one shipped with VL5.9 won't accept a user ID or password or something like that correctly.

Great!

If a thread is solved, please add [SOLVED] to the thread title. That way, others may know in that thread there is a solution and we can consider it 'closed'.  It's not mandatory, but a nice nettiquette.

Pssst!  kge420.  Go up to your very first post.  Find the "modify" button.  Then edit the subject line to read

That way it will show as solved out in the forum when people skim over the threads.  ;)
