WIFI Radar and My New pci card
« on: February 24, 2008, 04:42:20 pm »

 Well okay - Vector seems to running my new d-link 2320 wifi card as it can see 3 available wifi networks including the one i set up to test. It actually says it is connected to my test wifi but firefox has no internet to show me. Upon doing iwconfig - it has my test network running on ath0. So all looks pretty well but just no internet. Does anyone have a clue about this i hope ?           rkhwulf

Try pinging an external IP address instead a host name, in that way we can know if it is a dns problem. For example run in a terminal:

Code: [Select]
ping 64.233.167.99
that is Google IP address.

Try editing /etc/wifi-radar.conf. Edit the line

interface=

with

interface=ath0

 rkhwulf, I have a D-Link DWL-G630. My card also shows up as ath0. I disabled the WEP on my router and I get a good connection. I'm having some trouble with the WEP enabled so for now I'll go on without it.
