Hi To All

I am new to Vector Linux but have been using Linux for about two years.  Time to venture in to the command line??

Welcometo VECTOR LINUX rustcycle,

You can do most things without touching the command line, vasm and vasmcc will do most administrative tasks for you in a GUI way.

Command line is good IMHO, so I invite you to learn at least some of the basics Wink

Best regards from the Canary Islands.

Hi rustycycle,

Welcome to Vector Linux.  If you're looking for a basic introduction to the Linux command line, I've found some helpful tips at this site:  http://www.linuxcommand.org/.

I hope things go well for you.

Tom

Hey overthere,

Thanks for posting that link.  That's a very handy guide.  I'm not as familiar with a lot of those commands as I'd like to be, and I want to use them more.  Thanks also to Uelsk8s.  Bookmarked!
