I recently got an oportunity to use VL at work. For years I've been working off Wind OS machines.
At my current workplace, there is a couple of Win Xp and 2000 machines, the rest are thinclients running win CE. There is a Win 2003 server that everyone connects to using the windows RDP (Their inplementation of remote desktop or VNC).
So I found this old PIII laying around here, that they have win 2000 installed on. It's got a PIII 700mhz, 128MB RAM and an intel video chip.
I brought the VL Light live beta cd, and ran it... then installed it...
The coolest thing is that my boss is OK with it.. he gave me permission to wipe out the old Win2k install, and use the 10gb drive for a full linux install.
VL Light is performing great here...
I've added rDesktop and tsclient to manage the connection to the win 2003 server.
There is a couple of other boxes here similar to this one... they may ask me to isntall it there too

Cheers everybody..... To VL Light!
