Running:

slapt-get --upgrade

produced the following error trying to upgrade hal-info:

Code:
The following packages will be upgraded:
  hal-info
1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 35.0kB of archives.
After unpacking 60.0kB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue? [y/N] y
Get http://vectorlinux.osuosl.org/veclinux-5.9/packages/ hal-info 20071212-noarch-1 [35.0kB]...Failed to download: HTTP response code said error

It looks like a repository issue to me.

I'm currently running VL 5.9 Standard with all current patches, kernel 2.6.24.3 (testing kernel) with madwifi driver added.

I have been having problems with the osuosl repository here for couple of weeks , switched to gatech and have had no problems .. for some reason the osuosl gives me errors quite often and will not complete an upgrade most times.  have had no trouble with the other repositories i've tried.. but osuosl seems to be over loaded at times.
