xterm - disable "Frequently used programs"

Hi out there!

Does anybody know how to disable the "Frequently used programs"
that start in the headlines of terminal emulators like xterm, or mrxvt

thx for any help

WARNING: This involves making a system-wide change.. make sure you make backup copies of modified files for your own safety!.

You need to be root to do this

Edit your /etc/profile.d/vasm.sh
The list for the root user begins at line 47
Just comment out the "echo <text> " lines

The list for non-root users begins at line 53, 54, 63, 64 and 65
Comment out the the "echo <text>" lines

Log out or start a new terminal window.
