hi all,
i am desperately trying to get my laptop M10 (radeon 9600 mobility) to work in 3d mode with the open source "radeon" drivers. i have a friend who has 3d support with that card (9700, but that's basically the same chip with a higher clock) on his laptop running ubuntu.
this is his xorg.conf (shortened):

now tell me why i get 0.5 fps in tuxracer. i found the fglrx driver too unstable to use it, and as i have a friend who has it running with "radeon", i know it must be possible somehow. thanks for any help!
however, glxgears gives me 250fps.
