The beat never fades!

WWW
« on: March 20, 2008, 08:03:06 am »

Hello everyone,
Of course i am first time here. So its nice to meet everyone, and hopefully i will have a smoother transition from Windows to Linux with your help people.
After a week of research, forum talks and articles reading i have made my choice of Linux distro, Vector Linux.
I am working as IT Admin in a 10 machines office.
Currently these machines are beefed up with Windows OS and Soft.
Now i will be moving everything to Linux so Vector Linux is probably exactly what office dummy users need for transition time, and may be for more than that. So expect me often posting questions in this community Cheesy
Cheers everyone!

p.s. oh almost forgot, wanna say a big thank you to all VL developers, testers, tweakers for offering a great distro!

Hi!

Well, your profile is very clear about the beat that doesn't fade...  Wink

I looked @ your webpage, I saw something that looks very familiar.. I have an AKAI DPS12i, I suspect the device I see there is something similar (DPS16) ? Anyways, welcome to the forum, hope you like it here.

Actually, I'm more into Hardcore. However, when I make something that sounds nice I don't really care if it's hardcore or not. I have some unfinished songs on my googlepage if you want to hear them: http://the.headacher.googlepages.com/theheadacher%27smusic . Unfortunately I lost the original arrangements, so I don't think I'll ever finish these songs... (or I'd have to recreate them from carefully listening to these recordings).

What's the most evil, dark, crypto-fascist hardcore around?

I dunno, I try to stay away from the nationalists and the racists in the scene...

Angerfist often has this dark feel and image to it though.

Varg Vikernes (in my avatar) isn't a fascist. He is a crazy right-winger however

I used his picture because I more or less resemble him

Oh yes, very nice choice. I saw it performed live at a party once.. 6:00 AM, louder and faster than I'd ever heard it played before. It was great.

Must be a pic taken in his cell. That wall behind him, is a rock solid norwegian prison wall. Anyway, I read he is behaving very well and will soon be released. With his jail(hair)cut, he should probably assimilate quite rapidly. Although his name is still known by a few hundred percent more norwegians than probably know what linux is.
You from Bergen too ?

That does it, I'm changing my name (my real-life name, none of my many online names) to "Angerfist."  It had to be either that or "Dr. Funkenstein."

Also, belated welcome, Azmandius.
